Woman nabbed with 686 grammes of cocaine in her vagina

Plan by a food vendor who allegedly inserted 685 grammes of cocaine in her private part, to beat security operatives at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, has been foiled,as she was arrested by officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA
Cocainewoman cocaine-exhibitsThe suspect identified as Chinelo Okorom Lynnette, 36, was arrested  during  an inward screening of passengers on an Ethiopian Airline flight from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to Nigeria.

NDLEA Head of Public Affairs, Mitchell Ofoyeju, who made the disclosure, yesterday, said the suspect concealed the  drugs in a cellophane bag before inserting it into her private part and ingested some.

He said: ”The suspect tested positive for drug ingestion and vaginal insertion. She, however, expelled a total of 685 grammes of substance that tested positive for cocaine while under observation at the airport.”

However, the suspect, reportedly told NDLEA officials at the Airport Command headed by Mr Hamza Umar that she was deceived into the illicit business out of frustration by her landlord, following  her in ability to pay her rent.

According to her, “My husband abandoned me with four children two years ago. Since then, I have been working hard to pay their  school fees and also ensure their proper upkeep. I sell food at Ajagbandi to take care of my children.

“When my rent expired, I had no money to renew it. My landlord ejected us and I had nowhere to go with the children or who to talk to. I was crying like a baby when a man came to console me.

“He told  me to wipe my tears and promised to introduce me to importation business. I felt he was God-sent when he sponsored my trip to Addis Ababa. Before leaving, he said I was to go into importation of female hand  bags.

“But when I got to Ethiopia, he told me to take cocaine to Nigeria. Initially, I disagreed but he threatened to recover his investment at all cost. I am just a victim of man’s cruelty to man.”

Cocaine Saga: Bola Tinubu, others no longer associate with me- Baba Suwe

Yoruba comic actor,Babatunde Omidina a.k.a Baba Suwe, revealed in a recent interview with Encomium Magazine that his cocaine scandal ruined him and it is almost ruining his career as well. According to him, People no longer call him to act in their movies.

Here's what he told the magazine.

“I have not collected any compensation money from NDLEA yet. The most painful thing is that I was wrongly accused. Had it been, I actually committed the crime, I won’t mind, but they just punished me for nothing. I was in NDLEA custody for almost three weeks, and nothing was found on me. No matter the kind of juju one may have, I don’t think there is anybody that can conceal cocaine for even two days.

Even researches had shown that no one can harbour the substance in the body for two days. It will burst inside the person’s stomach, which can lead to death. And I believe after all their investigations, they should have released me so I could continue with my career. But the whole situation, the way they treated me actually rubbished my image. My career has been dwindling.

A lot of people that are supposed to be inviting me to take part in their movies abandoned me because of the incident. Even a lot of people that could have assisted me financially don’t want to associate with me again. People within and outside the industry has deserted me on account of the allegation. They still doubt me despite my victory in court.

I have sung praises of some people in some of my movies, and I always appreciate whatever they give me. This makes a lot of people close to me. For instance, I was close to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu before and he was very nice to me.

He had done a lot for me but now, it’s very difficult for me to be close to him. He is even not comfortable seeing me around him again because of the allegation. I don’t enjoy people’s love and admiration like before because people still believe that it was true“.

Justice Abimbola Obaseki-Adejumo said the prosecution had proved its case beyond reasonable doubt.
She also held that the court was presented with overwhelming evidence that Olayiwola was arrested with 1.2 kg of Indian hemp.
Delivering judgment, Obaseki-Adejumo said that in sentencing the convict, the court took into consideration the old age of Olayiwola's mother.
``The court will consider the old age of your mother and her plea. Furthermore, you are still a young man, with a future ahead of you,” she said.
The judge, thereafter, sentenced Olayiwola to six months imprisonment, and backdated his punishment to May, when he was arrested.
She also ordered the convict to pay a fine of N50,000 upon the completion of his jail term.

I did not ask Jonathan to free Al- Mustapha – T.B. Joshua

Prophet TB Joshua has denied the story by an online publication that he masterminded the freedom of Major Al-Mustapha by President Goodluck Jonathan who the publication allegedly bribe the Appeal Court justice, Justice Amina Augie to the tune of $2 million because of a prophesy by T B Joshua that Jonathan would not win the 2015 elections except he freed Al-Mustapha.
Femi Falana and Professor Chidi Odinkalu had also debunked the story by the gossip site as a pack of lies.

Below is the statement from T B Joshua;
COUNT ME OUT OF THE POLITICS OF HATRED
This is an official statement from Prophet T.B. Joshua. My attention has been drawn to an online article headlined ‘Pastor T.B. Joshua Revealed As Man Behind Al-Mustapha’s Release’ written by Sahara Reporters.
This article is from the enemy. They should not drag me into the issue of politics. If I was ever to go to Aso Rock, I would go publicly. I have already told you how I met Al-Mustapha. Don’t put words in my mouth. I explained that I got to know him many years ago when a petition was addressed to General Bamaiyi who was the then Chairman of the NDLEA. I spent nine days with them for investigation and they found the whole thing to be a fabrication.

From there, I was taken to see the president where I met Mustapha. I was able to reveal to them who I am by telling them what was to come as a prophet. I told him that he would spend several years in prison and would be finally released which no one else had ever told him. That is why you saw him coming here as his first port of call. Where there is no vision, people perish.

It is therefore very malicious for Sahara Reporters to attach any political meanings to Al-Mustapha’s visit. At no time did I tell President Jonathan that his political fortune rested with setting Al-Mustapha free, neither did I ever suggest that Chief James Ibori, former Delta State Governor be brought back to Nigeria to assist the president in the 2015 presidential election.

Count me out of the politics of hatred.

Tonto Dikeh denies posting marijuana photos on Instagram

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has denied posting marijuana photos on her instagram account. She also declared that she is yet to be summon by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
It will be recalled that the spokesperson of NDLEA, Mr. Mitchell Ofoyejus  has promised that the agency will take action on the alleged marijuana pictures posted on Instagram by the scandals-prone actress cum singer following criticism from various quarters.
Mr. Ofoyejus has noted that “Our attention (NDLEA) has been drawn to the post quite frankly and I can tell you that action will be taken on it. The law is clear and NDLEA has been very clear on the issue. No one is permitted to sell, use, cultivate or encourage the use of Indian hemp in Nigeria. The substance is one of the banned narcotics in the country.
“NDLEA Act Section 14 (b) states that any person who conspires with, aids, abets, counsels, attempts to commit or is an accessory to any act or offence referred to in this act shall be guilty of an offence under this act and liable on conviction to be sentenced to imprisonment for a term not less than 15 years and not exceeding 25 years.”
Tonto Dikeh has reacted to the threat of the NDLEA and other critics with the following words.
"As much as I would like to ignore the current issue on hemp, I think I owe well-meaning people some clarification. It is so easy the misconception that can come from a picture- the genius of technology. If you cannot find me holding a wrap of marijuana then you may want to slow down on your assumptions. We shouldn’t use our platforms to spread half-truths.
“A fan wrote those words with herbs on my birthday on Instagram, and I replied: “Thank you #teampoko”. Now how does someone else’s action become my crime? If I said those words ('Mi smoke gaja mi smoke weed while my hatez smoke ma gossip’) I will stand by them but I didn’t, and just because it is convenient for people to believe the lies still doesn’t make it the truth. The whole thing is falsified by people who just love to have fun at other’s expense.
“Let’s put some thought to some of the things we write. Don’t do cut-and-paste. The original pictures are there to see; but no! That is too boring to be the truth. We want the truth to be nasty and spicy for our enjoyment, even if it is a pack of lies. Visit my Instagram page and see if the original picture is the same as the ones being circulated”.

NDLEA has had issues with Nollywood celebrities (most of who are accused of possessing banned substances), one of which was the Baba Suwe opera.
