Wasiu 35 and his 25-year-old girlfriend, Kafayat, are being detained at the Police headquarters in Akure.
The lovers were arrested by detectives from the Ondo State Police Command after allegedly stealing a Toyota Picnic bus.
Police source said in Akure that the lovers who had confessed to be specialists in stealing of vehicles were arrested at about 9pm on April 3 this year.
It was gathered that one Yemi Tope of 7, Ondo Road, Ore, reported at the Police Station that his vehicle was stolen where it was parked.
Consequently, operatives of the state CID, led by ASP Jacob Alao swung into action and traced the suspect to Ibadan.
