‘I have no beef with Wande Coal’ – Olamide

Contrary to gist making the rounds in the music industry, Olamide, says he has no beef with singer, Wande Coal.

Rumours of a beef started back in 2012 when Olamide released his YBNL album . On the track titled ‘Picture’, Olamide rapped about not letting his guard down when it comes to interacting with obsessed female fans.

‘Oloso (prostitutes) thinking of how to ruin me, but I know what I’m doing/they want to Wande Coal me, they want to Davido me,’ he rapped.
Folks alleged that Wande did not find that line funny and the two were not on speaking terms, however, Olamide has denied that.

He said on Thursday: ‘I have no riff with Wande Coal, we spoke on phone three days ago. When I heard the gist I was also surprised. He is my guy; he is a street boy like me. Why I said they want to Wande Coal me, they want to Davido me on my song… people are just out looking for who to use for a scape goat, trying to bring you down, that was all I was trying to say. I don’t have issues with them.’

Wande Coal’s manager, Bankuli,  refused to comment on the issue.

It will be recalled that both Wande Coal and Davido have been involved in controversies over nude/half nude photos purportedly leaked by women. Wande Coal, we are told, was not impressed by Olamide’s reference to the incident.

Olamide, Phyno to drop single from '2 Kings' Collabo soon

Contrary to insinuations that the proposed collabo album of indigenous rappers, Olamide and Phyno might not see the light of the day, an insider has confirmed that the artistes are serious about the project and might likely drop a single or two from the album before the end of the first quater of the year.

"Olamide and Phyno are serious about the collabo and the likelihood that a single will drop very soon is certain. I am sure that this will not go the way of other proposed collabo," the confidant to one of the artistes said.
It will be recalled that Olamide, who released his third album, Baddest Guy Ever Liveth, late 2013, broke the news via Twitter.

“Next album 2kings Olamide and Phyno. They are not ready … Start anticipating,” he tweeted on Thursday.
Phyno confirmed the news when he posted Olamide’s tweet on his Instagram page.
Olamide mainly raps in Yoruba, while Phyno raps in Igbo.

The collaborative album, if it sees the light of the day, may be the first of its kind in Nigerian music industry. Several artistes have recently announced plans to release collaborative albums – Wizkid and Wande Coal, Davido and MayD – but none has materialised yet.

Olamide and Phyno had a good run in 2013. Apart from his album, Olamide headlined concerts and won the much coveted Next-Rated award at the Headies. Phyno’s hit single, Man of the Year, positioned him as an artiste to look out for in 2014

The two had earlier collaborated: first on Phyno’s ‘Ghost mode’, then on Olamide’s ‘Dope money‘.

Davido break-up with girlfriend

Music Sensation, Davido has declared he is single and looking for a lady to spend his money with.

It went viral not long ago that the “Omo Baba Olowo” is dating Nish Kards but it seems the relationship as ended (as some gossipers predicted).

 The recent post of the artiste on his twitter shows that the relationship with the Ghanaian mulatto (mixed race) no longer exists.

The artiste post of 21 July reads:"I'm a young nigga living the single life---need a queen to share all this money with...”.

Davido acquires N20million Mercedes Benz

Omo Baba Olowo (OBO) crooner, Davido has acquired the 2012 Mercedes Benz G55 AMG said to be worth over N20million, though he's yet to take delivery of the luxury SUV. Davido already has an Audi Q7, a Chevrolet Camaro and a Hyundai Sonata in his car collection. 

'Dollars Show': Davido vs Jude Okoye

Gobe cronner Davido and elder brother of PSquare pop twins Jude Engees Okoye posted photographs on their Instagram  page displaying their prized possessions. Jude and Papy J (Dancer Kaffy’s hubby) looked to be shopping for a car on the web while Davido all dressed up for the Club Dreams gig in Houston Texas which held at the weekend cuddled bundles of dollars.
