Wizkid, Davido prophesy: Soul E comes under fire, defends self

Singer turned prophet Soul E Baba battles to put off a raging online fire provoked by his prophesies on Wizkid and Davido that went viral today

He had ‘prophesied’ that Wizkid would be poisoned and that Davido would be in a fatal car crash causing an uproar amongst their fans on social media. Soul E has gone on to defend his prophesies…

I have received so many phone calls about the prophecy the Lord gave to me concerning wizkid, Davido and Aso Rock. Some have said that i am seeking for attention and so many funny talks about me been a prophet of God , i want to say that as a prophet of God,i will deliver any message i receive from God. Many people did not believe my Master Jesus Christ when He was on earth and they called Him different names, that’s why i am not surprised at people calling me names too but one thing i am sure of is that i don’t speak when the Lord has not asked me to speak and i don’t speak when the Lord has not showed me. Prophet Soul E.

Wizkid, Olamide, others are arrogant- Daddy Showkey

Ace ghetto singer and 'Galala master', Daddy Showkey has declared that most young stars in the music industry are arrogant and it will be hard for him to do a collabo with them.
He made the disclosure during the Silverbird ‘Man of the Year Award’.

In a brief interview with journalists at the occasion, he stated that he will not like to work with young Nigerian artistes, because of their arrogant attitude.

According to him, “Wizkid and the rest of them are very arrogant, I am not sure there will be any music relationship with them, I don’t care.”

It will be recalled that Daddy Showkey and Wizkid were seen working together on a track by the Pakuromo youngster in late 2013, many are wondering what went wrong?

Olamide, Phyno to drop single from '2 Kings' Collabo soon

Contrary to insinuations that the proposed collabo album of indigenous rappers, Olamide and Phyno might not see the light of the day, an insider has confirmed that the artistes are serious about the project and might likely drop a single or two from the album before the end of the first quater of the year.

"Olamide and Phyno are serious about the collabo and the likelihood that a single will drop very soon is certain. I am sure that this will not go the way of other proposed collabo," the confidant to one of the artistes said.
It will be recalled that Olamide, who released his third album, Baddest Guy Ever Liveth, late 2013, broke the news via Twitter.

“Next album 2kings Olamide and Phyno. They are not ready … Start anticipating,” he tweeted on Thursday.
Phyno confirmed the news when he posted Olamide’s tweet on his Instagram page.
Olamide mainly raps in Yoruba, while Phyno raps in Igbo.

The collaborative album, if it sees the light of the day, may be the first of its kind in Nigerian music industry. Several artistes have recently announced plans to release collaborative albums – Wizkid and Wande Coal, Davido and MayD – but none has materialised yet.

Olamide and Phyno had a good run in 2013. Apart from his album, Olamide headlined concerts and won the much coveted Next-Rated award at the Headies. Phyno’s hit single, Man of the Year, positioned him as an artiste to look out for in 2014

The two had earlier collaborated: first on Phyno’s ‘Ghost mode’, then on Olamide’s ‘Dope money‘.

SaveOJB: D’Banj, 2face, Ini Edo yet to make donation

Confidants of Babatunde Okungbowa, popularly known as OJB has debunked rumours that Koko master, D’Banj has made a donation of N7M for the kidney transplant of  the ailing music producer. They also said African queen crooner, 2face and scandals-prone actress cum singer, Ini Edo are yet to contribute as well. OJB produced the world acclaimed African queen song that launched 2face Idibia to the global audience.

One of the friends of OJB who does not want to be named lambasted the artistes for earning cheap publicity from the producer ill health. He said, “ it is a shame that these peoples that OJB helped to be great in life chose to earn cheap publicity from his misfortune. Can you imagine that they never contributed nor pay a visit to him, rather their publicists are on the social media tweeting ‘D’Banj made N7m donation, Ini Edo gave N2M and 2face has promised to write off the bill etc. heaven will judge them”.

Another friend of OJB added, “I am not disappointed in them; we know who they are and that they love the limelight but I will say it is unfortunate. I am here with OJB and I can say all these fake donations are more threatening to him than the kidney problem. My fear is that genuine peoples are turned away by all these lies but with God on our side, OJB will live”.

A bittered friend of the ailing producer also send the following broadcast from his blackberry, “the Lagos state government has suspended any form of assistance to OJB Jezreel due to verification issues stemming from all the hype about how much was raised on his behalf. In their (government) view, he does not need the help of the state…. See what you helped to destroy…kill”. The friend thus listed the false donation against some of the artiste names with a bold caption ‘NOT TRUE’ against them. They included 2face (N1.5M), D’Banj (N7M), Wizkid (N3M) and Olamide (N1M)”.

The aggrieved entertainer thus added, “your ‘FACT-LESS HYPE” of those who have contributed nothing so far in this matter is preventing others willing to help from doing so. If your name is used falsely as an artiste/entertainer, it is the duty of your management to stand up and clear the wrong impression… your silence only means you are trying to reap where you have not sown…clear your name now”.

OJB who is battling with Kidney problem needs N16M  for the transplant.

Contributions can still be made via BABATUNDE OKUNGBOWA UBA ACCOUNT NUMBER: 1015075120 OR OKUNGBOWA BABATUNDE ZENITH BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER: 1004186282, SORT CODE: 057150628, BRANCH: MARINA 2.
