Jigawa Deputy Speaker,Driver Die In Auto Crash

The Deputy Speaker of the Jigawa State House of Assembly, Honourable Inuwa Sule Udi has died in a car accident which occured along Kano-Ringim road, about forty kilometres from Kano.

According to the acting Sector Commander of the FRSC in Kano, Mr. Kabir Nadabo, who confirmed the incident and the death of the deputy speaker, said his vehicle was involved in a head-on collision with a tanker on his way to Jigawa from Kano, leaving him and his driver dead.

However, three people who survived the accident, including his wife were rushed to the hospital.

Honourable Sule, who has already been buried according to Islamic rites, represented Ringim constituency at the Jigawa State House of Assembly since 1999 and became the deputy speaker in 2003.

The 52-year old Honourable is survived by wife and children.
