Chiamanda Adichie To Feature Lupita Nyong’o In ‘Americanah’ Movie

Award winning novelist, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, recently gave a hint on a possible collaboration with Kenyan-born Oscar winning Lupita Nyong’o.

Chimamanda’s novel ,Americanah, was named as one of New York Times’ best books of 2013. The novel’s plot is based on the life of a young Nigerian woman who emigrated to America for her university education and returned years after.

Chimamanda who spoke to Arise Entertainment 360 said this:

’I’m going to do the mysterious thing and say that Lupita might be making an announcement very soon. I don’t know. That announcement might be about Americanah.’
