Budding Singer, Yemi Alade has revealed that she grew up in a
household where she didn’t have the liberty to party and club at whim
like her peers.
Yemi, who bears the moniker ‘That Yoruba-Ibo
girl’, says that while other kids were out partying, she was always
either at home or representing her school in several music and drama
competitions.
‘I was that kid they didn’t allow to attend parties
while growing up, so I directed all the energy stored up in me into
creative outlets’.
The Johnny star is expected to release her debut album ‘King of Queens’ later this year.
