A ten-year-old boy has been suspended from school after
making his fingers look like a gun, his furious dad has claimed.
Nathan Entingh was playing with his friends in science class
when he decided to pretend he had a weapon.
His dad, Paul Entingh, said Nathan made his fingers look
like a gun by having his thumb up and pointing a finger out.
Speaking to CNN, he said: "He was pointing it at a
friend's head and he said 'boom.' It wasn't threatening. It was a 10-year-old
kid playing."
The incident on February 26 was spotted by the class teacher
and the following morning the youngster and his father visited the principal's
office at Devonshire Alternative Elementary School in Columbus, Ohio, US.
During the meeting, the pair were told that Nathan would be
suspended for three days.
A spokesman for Columbus City Schools said the school had
been warning students for weeks following a number of fake shooting incidents
and students making paper guns.
