Abacha's daughter berates Soyinka

The daughter of late General Sani Abacha, Gumsu has lambasted Nobel laureate, Wole Soyinka for describing her father as a thief and murder unworthy of National honours.

Soyinka rejected the centenary awards, pointing out that he cannot share the same honour with the late dictator.

In a statement entitled, ‘The canonisation of terror, Soyinka stated that by honouring Abacha, President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration had ridiculed Nigeria in the presence of world leaders by glorifying “murderers and thieves.”

This statement obviously did not go down well with one of the late Military dictator's daughters, Gumsu Sani Abacha who took to her facebook page to lash out at Soyinka.
