the ex-governor of Bayelsa, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha as the the State Government, on Monday, disowned a lawyer, George Uboh, who claimed to have been mandated by the state to file a suit challenging Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for not remitting the various sums of money it recovered from the former governor.
The denial came few hours after EFCC threatened that it will continue its search into the financial books of the state and ensure that government officials are made to account for any stolen loot.
