The Parisiens scored twice in the second half to romp to a 3-1 win
and then mocked the Blues' travelling supporters on social media
Paris
Saint-Germain taunted Chelsea fans over Twitter following their 3-1
victory in the Champions League quarter-finals first leg on Wednesday.
Laurent
Blanc's men took an early lead thanks to Ezequiel Lavezzi's stunning
finish, but Eden Hazard's equaliser from the penalty spot briefly
silenced the home support.
However, David Luiz carelessly bundled
the ball into the back of the net from a PSG free-kick midway through
the second half, before Javier Pastore's excellent solo dribble ended in
a smart near-post finish to leave Jose Mourinho's men on the back foot
ahead of next Tuesday's return leg at Stamford Bridge.
PSG's
social media account - which has over 1.18 million followers - responded
to the win by mockingly suggesting Chelsea fans look elsewhere for
positive memories from their trip over the English Channel.
The
reigning Ligue 1 champions then thanked title race rivals Monaco for
their tweet in support of their French compatriots and warned the Blues
that quarter-final elimination is in sight for the 2011-12 European
champions.
