Scores killed in Abuja bomb explosion

A car bomb explosion rocked Nyanya Bus terminus in Abuja with scores of people dead and several cars set on fire.

The incidence happened at about 6:45am at the bus station which serves as a major terminus for commuters coming into Abuja from satelite towns in the Federal Capital territory.

Though details of casualties were not officially available, at least ten bodies were seen at went of the incidence.

Atleast seven burnt cars were seen at the park as a joint team of different security forces battled to evacuate the dead and injured, which an eye witness put at ‘over fifty’.
