House of Representatives Committee on Education, Farouk Lawal (PDP, Kano) and oil magnate, Femi Otedola is not over as the purported video of the money exchange has gone viral.
The first part of the video inclving Lawan and Otedola which
was not too clear showed how the two came into the view of the Closed Circuit
Television (CCTV) camera before sitting
with Lawan facing the camera.
Otedola was in his traditional white short caftan while
Lawan was in a long caftan.
The two were seen discussing how the payments were to be
made in installments.
Otedola eventually dipped his hand into his pocket, brought
out some bundles of currency notes and handed them to Lawal who collected them,
stuffed some in his two caftan pockets, collected another envelop from Otedola
and left.
The video did not show Lawan stuffing parts of the money in
his cap as widely circulated at the height of the scandal.
Emenalo in a plain brown native attire followed, sat on the
same settee his erstwhile boss sat after exchange of pleasantries, collected
his own share and stuffed the money in his trouser pockets bulging.
The part three of the 'film' was the audio conversation
between Lawan and Otedola.
