Man killed 4 yr old son for spying when making love to new wife, docked

One Elvis Enegbate of 7, Adetola Adelaja Street, Meiran was, on Thursday, arraigned over the alleged killing of  his four year old son earlier this month.

The accused was said to have used hot pressing iron to burn his son, pierced his lips and padlocked them to prevent him from calling for neighbours’ help, after which he threw him into a drum of water.

It was a neighbour who saw Enegbate when he was throwing the child into the drum  that went to call the police but  before the neighbour returned with policeman, the boy, whose mother is late, had died.
The reason the defendant gave for killing his son was that, he used to spy on him whenever he was making love to his new wife.

While in court, the accused, who was said to be mentally unbalanced, acted it out by rambling incomprehensible words.
